In contrary, CRT monitors produces sharper text in any supported resolution. Moreover, flat panel monitors are restricted only up to a certain angle. In looking for a flat panel monitor, one must look at its computer compatibility. Some video cards only support VGA video cards while newer versions have incorporated HDMI and DVI technology.
