Data Projectors

Have you ever needed to present your PowerPoint presentation or a video in front of a large crowd? Well, a data projector is just what you need. It's a device that you can attach to your laptops or desktop using a DVI-VGA wire or vice versa, which projects the image, video or etc. to a white screen or big white wall that you want to show the audience. It can be used for almost any presentations such as lectures, conferences, demonstrations, interactive learning, and even home theaters. There are currently two (2) different kinds of data projectors available in the market today, light crystal display (LCD) and digital light processing (DLP).The LCD projector is best used for image displays while the DLP projector is mostly used by film/video projectors, slide projectors and overhead projectors.

But, how does it differ from other similar devices? The data projector is for a large amount of people to see the presentation all at the same time, unlike other similar devices such as CRT monitors, Flat Panel Monitors, E-books and etc. where it is more inclined for individual usage. Some popular leading providers of this device are Sony, Philips, Canon, Samsung, Panasonic, Pioneer, Sanyo, BENQ, NOBO and NEC. Just a few reminders when buying this product, first, know the purpose, of which you are going to need it for. Then, find out the aspect ratio whether standard screen (4:3) or HDTV wide screen (16:9). Also, consider the environment that you are going to place the device in because the lighting is important to notice whether it be dark or not. These are just some aspects to consider to help you start off in narrowing down your options. Hope you found this entry useful and if you need more information about the device try checking the links below too.
